Libro encargado por la fotógrafa Justine Graham en el marco del proyecto Buscando Sentido del Centro de Humanidades de la Facultad de Medicina UDD, proyecto anual que invita a un artista a colaborar con un experto de las humanidades para explorar la identidad de la Facultad. Esta monografía, es el resultado de una investigación de un año, que un retrato visual y testimonial de 300 estudiantes y docentes de la Facultad de Medicina de dicha universidad en 2014.
El libro intenta evidenciar los múltiples sentidos que estudiantes y docentes en el área de la salud otorgan a sus carreras respectivas, crear una instancia de reflexión tanto a nivel individual como institucional, y poner de manifiesto la potencia de la práctica artística mediante un trabajo de auto-reflexión. Este libro invita a observar y reflexionar sobre el sentido de haber elegido un camino, a partir de la mirada del filósofo Cristóbal Holzapfel. Agradezco la colaboración de Estudio Vicencio en el diseño y producción del libro.
